Walk In Stairs

Adding a walk-in staircase to your inground pool, can turn your existing pool into a brand new looking pool. Walk-in staircases provide easy access in and out of your pool and are the safe choice for children and the elderly.

We off two styles of walk in steps. The fiberglass style walk in steps pictured left are an extension of your pool and the vinyl over steps pictured bottom left are inside your pool and the vinyl liner flows right overtop of them.

Colours & Sizes: Staircases now come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They range from 4' to 10' and are available in grey, blue, white and black. Stairs can also fit straight or curved walls. Vinyl over steps come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Corner steps, wedding cake steps, and steps all the way across the shallow end to name a few.

Process: The process involves cutting and removing your existing concrete pool deck on either side of the existing staircase or removing the concrete where you would like your staircase to be placed. It is then dug out and the old staicase removed or the mud and backfill removed. If there are pool lines running by they will have to be moved or relocated. The existing concrete footing also has to be removed. The steel pool wall is then cut and/or added to, to make the proper size opening for the new staircase. Once in place the staircase gets poured in concrete again and backfilled. Your concrete deck is now ready to be re-poured on either side and around your new staircase.

Repair: Fiberglass & acrylic staircases can be repaired to stop leaks or fix cracks or bubbles. Vinyl over steps canbe repaired under the water.

Cost: Expect to pay upwards of $5000 to have a standard 6 foot walk-in staircase installed.
