When your pool needs a facelift there are a lot of options to consider. New walk- in pool steps, new concrete deck, maybe colored or decorative concrete, new pool equipment, new LED pool lighting or water features may be at the top of your list. These are all options and certainly make your pool look great. If you are after a new look but without all the extra upgrades, then a basic pool reno will certainly make your pool look brand new. Replacing your coping, concrete pool deck, skimmer, jets and pool liner are the necessary items that should be replaced when renovating your pool.

Removing your concrete pool deck often means that your skimmer will get damaged especially if it is old. Reusing an old skimmer into a new concrete deck is not something we do. Reason being is, if your skimmer fails a couple years down the road now you have to start cutting your new concrete deck. If you have decorative concrete the issue is matching the newly repaired concrete to your existing concrete. Two years from now you will ask why we did not recommend replacing your skimmer 2 years ago when the concrete deck was initially poured. So for that reason, we replace all old items to make your pool maintenance free for years to come.
