Pool Liner Coming Out of Coping and Falling Down

Quite often in spring time we receive calls about liners that have fallen out of the coping and slid down the pool wall. This is caused from the liner lifting and releasing tension on the bead of the liner which enables it to pop out of the coping or receiver track. For the liner tension to be released means that, your liner has to lift from the ice or from pool water getting under your vinyl liner. Water can get underneath your liner through a hole in your liner or from general ground water saturation around your pool which is usually runoff water being trapped. Vinyl Pool Liner Wrinkles

Wrinkles in your vinyl pool liner can be caused from many things. Improper liner installation, improper tailoring of the liner, pool liner floating and shifting, low ph, excessive high levels of chlorine shock and absense of stabilizer and conditioner in your pool water. Ground Water

We usually encounter ground water under you swimming pool in the spring, after heavy rain falls, if you have an underwater river, low lying lands, or if the ground is saturated from a long term pool leak. Before a new liner can be installed the ground water has to dry up. We have seen ground water running in as fast as water comes out the end of a garden hose.
